Why We Created This Book

In a world that moves fast and rewards perfection, we wanted to create something different. This book was born from a belief that children’s creativity is not something to correct, but something to protect. We believe that every child deserves a space to create without fear of judgment, where they can feel safe to explore, imagine, and express. To us, art is not about impressing others, it’s about expressing yourself, honestly and unapologetically.

When we saw how easily children’s confidence could be shaken by rules, grades, or adult expectations, we knew we had to act. Drifting Wonders is our way of keeping their creativity alive. It’s a project where experienced illustrators don’t dictate or control, but guide. Helping young artists find their own voice and celebrate their originality.

​No words can truly capture the moment a parent sees their child’s artwork published in a real picturebook. At the Drifting Wonders launch, we witnessed proud smiles, misty eyes, and hearts overflowing with love. Our classes are designed to help children find their own creative voice, not replicate someone else’s work. We encourage them to see that mistakes are not failures, but part of the process, often leading to the most unexpected and brilliant ideas. Through this approach, they learn to express their individuality with pride and confidence, knowing that their unique perspective matters.
When a child is encouraged to create freely, without the pressure to copy, something magical happens. Their imagination blossoms, filling each piece of art with originality and spirit.
